Nestled between the lake, the diner, and the town baseball field, Linden Falls is the kind of place where everyone knows the shortcut home.

Linden Falls is a fictional lakeside town in Wisconsin, set in the summer of 1996.

It's a place where bikes line the driveway, cassette tapes fill the soundtrack, and friendships are built on long afternoons spent exploring the neighborhood. The town exists through stories, artwork, keepsakes, and the shared memories that connect them.

Every issue of The Kindest Post offers a new glimpse into Linden Falls through standalone stories and collectible pieces that expand the world one month at a time.

Hi! I'm Hillary

I've always been drawn to stories, nostalgia, and the little things that make a place feel real. The Kindest Post began as a way to combine those loves into something tangible: a monthly piece of mail that feels worth opening.

In a world of endless scrolling, I wanted to create something slower. Something you could hold in your hands. Something that gives you a reason to look forward to checking the mailbox.

Each month, I write and design a new issue of The Kindest Post, pairing fiction, artwork, and keepsakes to bring the world of Linden Falls to life.
